Strip out and demolition is well underway at the old Parish Rooms in Port Isaac. The stonework walls have been exposed and a thorough review of the structure and stability of the original stone rubble construction has been carried out. The walls will be retained, stabilised and internally lined to create the new habitable accommodation. The roof finishes have been stripped as have all internal finishes, fittings and floors.
The building is being converted into two residential properties and construction work is due to commence in early spring.
