Boscawen Road

This stunning coastal site provided a fantastic opportunity to design a contemporary home that made the most of the site’s sloping topography and stunning views. Being located in a Conservation Area, the brief required the house to have a high-quality design, whilst responding sensitively to its surroundings and subtly nestling into its environment.

This was achieved by accessing the house at the upper floor level, directly from the street and driveway entrance, and sinking the lower floor into the hill-side. This strategy also allowed the living areas to maximise views across Falmouth Bay and keep the bedroom views and windows more private.
